Event-sourced live looper with performance reconstruction and musician-friendly DAW workflow.
What is LoopCompose?
LoopCompose is a multi-channel live audio looper that records not only your loops
but the whole performance as a timeline of events.
You can reconstruct, edit, and recombine a piece after recording instead of being
stuck with a single "current state" like in classic loopers.
Core idea
Traditional loopers store only the current state.
LoopCompose stores audio assets,
performance events,
and timeline history.
- Non-destructive workflow
- Full reconstruction of live performances
- Flexible rearrangement after recording
Main features
- 8 independent channels, each with its own loop length (1–24 bars)
- Overdub or overwrite recording per channel
- Mute / solo per channel with "mute all" shortcut
- Visual timeline with recordings and events on a bar grid
- Playhead and seek: jump to any bar and hear the correct state
- Export: mixdown or stems for the current loop cycle
- Projects stored as folders with settings, recordings, and event data
- Keyboard shortcuts for play/pause, zoom, record/mute/solo
- Themes: Default, Dark Mode, Very Dark
Who is it for?
Musicians who want live looping plus the ability to edit and recompose the
performance afterwards — without losing the feel of playing a looper in real time.
